Greetings from Ronald UMC Men's Group! We welcome you to visit us and consider joining our
growing, thriving organization. In addition to working with the Board of Trustees to routinely maintain
the grounds of the church, Ronald Men are involved in a number of activities throughout the church
calendar year.
We regularly partner with First Church in downtown Seattle to help cook breakfast and serve meals to
the urban homeless population there. Starting this year, on June 3rd, our group will join the Ronald
UMC Youth in supporting Asian Counseling and Referral Service's WALK FOR RICE at Seward
Park. This is a fund-raising initiative for the third largest food bank in King County. Also, each year
Ronald's Men Group conducts a Men's Worship Service for the congregation, where all aspects of a
Sunday morning service are conducted by male members of the church.
In addition to holding breakfast meetings and increasing our involvement in many other church activities
ranging from choir to teaching Sunday School, and ushering to helping wash dishes in the kitchen during
coffee hour, each August we join many other Methodist churches at SAFECO Field to celebrate
UNITED METHODIST DAY AT THE BALL PARK. There are other mission-related activities we
will be developing in the coming months.
